Founded in 1975 by renowned entrepreneur Deshabandu Deshamanya Nissanka Weerasena, the AIDA Group of Companies has grown from humble beginnings into a respected and diversified business with a strong presence both in Sri Lanka and internationally. What started as a passion for the gem and jewellery industry soon became a lifelong journey built on hard work, trust, and a commitment to excellence.

The name “AIDA” was inspired by German opera and reflects the invaluable support and friendship Mr. Nissanka Weerasena received from German visitors during the early years of his business. Ein wunderbarer Ort zu heilen … Ich bin schon zum dritten mal hier und es fühlt sich an wie nach Hause zu kommen. Fantastische Menschen (wenn ich könnte würde ich mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben ) haben mich auf meinem Ayurveda Weg begleitet … für mich war dieser wunderschöne Ort die beste Entscheidung .. ich bin rundum zufrieden. das ayurvedische Buffet ist fantastisch und mit Liebe Zubereitet. Geschmacklich äußert köstlich und abwechslungsreich. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die neu renovierten Zimmer am Fluss sind sehr sauber und es gibt täglich einen liebevollen Blumengruss auf dem Bett. Das gesamte Ayurveda Center ist wunderschön gestaltet und bekommt von mir die best Note 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻die täglichen Massagen waren das Highlight meines Aufenthaltes ..Meine Therapeuten Kasun, Udara und Sunil massieren fantastisch … das gesamte Therapeuten Team ist sehr gut. Die Ärzte begleiten einen liebevoll in Gesundheitsfragen und gehen persönlich und kompetent auf jeden Gast ein. Die Nähe zum Strand und der Blick auf den Fluss hat mich begeistert … Geschäfte im Umkreis des Hotel waren in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen Für mich persönlich war es die beste Entscheidung hierher zu kommen … die Freundlichkeit und Gastlichkeit der Menschen habe ich so noch nirgendwo erleben dürfen 🙏 es tut der Seele gut hier zu sein Ich komme wieder …. Unser Aufenthalt im Ayurveda-Hotel war einfach außergewöhnlich. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns rundum willkommen und bestens umsorgt gefühlt. Das gesamte Team war überaus freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, auf individuelle Wünsche einzugehen. Die ayurvedischen Behandlungen – insbesondere die Kopf-, Körper- und Fußmassagen – waren von höchster Qualität. Besonders die synchronen Massagen haben uns tief entspannt und nachhaltig regeneriert. Die ayurvedische Küche war abwechslungsreich, sehr schmackhaft und perfekt auf das Ziel der Verjüngung und ganzheitlichen Erholung abgestimmt. Jede Mahlzeit war liebevoll zubereitet und wohltuend für Körper und Geist. Nach acht Tagen haben wir unsere Weiterreise tief erholt, gestärkt und voller neuer Energie angetreten. Die tägliche Begleitung durch äußerst kompetente Ärzte vermittelte Sicherheit, Vertrauen und echte Fürsorge. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diese unvergessliche Zeit, die Aufmerksamkeit bis ins Detail und die spürbare Leidenschaft für Ayurveda. Unglaublich freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter* innen in allen Abteilungen. Rezeption, a la carte Restaurant, Ayurveda Restaurant, Ayurvedabehandlungen, Housekeeping……und natürlich der Chef. Er kümmert sich oft persönlich um das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste. Falls er mal nicht kann …..übernimmt Manik 🔆.Auch Atu im Ajurvedaservice ist unschlagbar freundlich und aufmerksam.  Verified Das schönste und sympathischste Ayurveda Hotel das ich kenne!
Ich war schon in vielen Ayurveda Kuren an verschiedenen Orten in Sri Lanka. Was mir hier besonders gut gefällt ist, dass es nicht in deutscher Hand ist, sondern von Einheimischen geführt ist, die sehr herzlich und bemüht sind. Die sehr gut ausgebildeten Massage Therapeuten und Therapeutinnen geben alles. Ich habe in kurzer Zeit ein Grossteil meiner Zellulitis verloren, habe abgenommen und fühlte mich nach 3 Wochen Panchakarmakur wie neugeboren. Das Essen ist gut und der wunderschöne Strand ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Es hat mir auch gut gefallen, dass man sich frei bewegen kann, in 5 Minuten ist man im quirligen Städtchen. Ich hatte ein Zimmer auf den romantischen Blumengarten ,mit Blick auf den Fluss.einfach traumhaft. Leider fährt der Zug in der Nähe vorbei, aber ich hatte mich dann schnell daran gewöhnt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Ich komme wieder und werde viel Werbung machen., da es zur Zeit wenig Gäste hat.

First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thanks to Akila for communicating all the details so clearly, Athukorala Uncle for his kindness, and Dr. Chandani for the Ayurvedic consultations and treatments. The reception staff and everyone else at the resort were also very helpful, polite, and attentive.
We stayed in a river view room which was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The room was not very spacious, but considering the price, it was definitely worth it.
We booked on a bed & breakfast basis, and the breakfast was served Sri Lankan style with healthy food options including delicious Kola Kanda, which we really enjoyed.
The Ayurvedic treatments were one of the highlights of our stay. They currently offer a 25% discount on treatments, which is great value. We tried the full body treatment and sauna session, and it was a wonderful experience. A special thank you to Ms. Chathurika, who did my treatment so professionally and warmly. The session was extremely relaxing and enjoyable.
Overall, a very worthwhile and peaceful stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing Ayurvedic getaway in Bentota!

Alle Hotelangestellten sind uns mit so viel Achtsamkeit und Fürsorge begegnet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unsere Massagetherapeuten Sunil, Amal, Udara und Kasun sowie unsere Ärztin. Unfassbar gut und so sehr auf unsere Bedürfnisse abgestimmt. Wir hatten Wünsche noch nicht mal zu Ende gedacht und schon wurden sie erfüllt. Hier wirst du mit so viel Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit und Wertschätzung bedacht. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren im Februar 2026 zum 2. Mal in diesem Hotel.
Unser Empfang am Anreisetag war eine herzenswarme Umarmung mit Blumen und einem leckeren Getränk. Das Highlight war, dass jeder von uns ein Licht entzünden durfte.
Der ganze Aufenthalt war wunderschön, sehr aufmerksam und gefüllt mit so viel Wärme und Zuwendung. Unsere Therapeuten waren wirklich ein Geschenk, achtsam, wertschätzend, auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingehend, heilsam und sehr erfahren. Jeden Tag wurden wir mit einem Lächeln oder einer Blüte begrüßt, allein dies war schon so berührend und wohltuend.
Frau Dr. Radha, unsere Ärztin, hatte jederzeit ein offenes Ohr für uns , sie machte alles möglich, wenn wir Hilfe benötigen, beantwortete unsere Fragen und war überaus professionell .
Wir können dieses Hotel zu einhundert Prozent weiter empfehlen. Es ist eine so herzliche und wohltuende Atmosphäre , wir nehmen all die positive Energie und heilsame Wirkung der ganzen Anwendungen mit nach Hause.

It was wonderful staying at your hotel , you should be proud of your staff who were so helpful and kind and all with a big smile. You also clearly looked after us with the change to bigger rooms and for allowing us to use them until our departure.
